c clip on rear axle
Do you need to have the snap ring on the rear axle shaft? I bought a g2 rear end and
I see that it is missing just wondering will the rear clutch work without it. thanks |

This spacer replaces the clip. Without it the helix will rub the trans case... |

It is bad for the clutch calibration (spring not at specified height). And can cause expensive damage to the axle housing & input shaft. Yes, its important. Get spacer noted above.

Any tips on getting the outer half of the clutch off I have used the clutch
puller and it wont budge 😕 |
