1993 EZGO F/R switch problems

Hey everone. Noobie here.
I have a 1993 electric ezgo marathon that started having problems in forward.
If I pressed the accelerator more than an inch it would cut out. Worked fine in reverse. I pulled the two terminals from the double microswitch & jumped them with a wire & alligator clips. Worked OK. Just didn't have reverse for a week.
I purchased a new micro switch, installed it, worked for 1 minute. Now I only have reverse again.

Please Help.
