Default Pair of EZGO'S

Well I picked up a couple of carts, a 91 3/wheel, and a 85 4/wheel. Both are in pretty bad shape one runs are did before the rusted battery box fell out during transport and pulled the wires loose. Any way I'll post some pics later I'm going to need tons of help with this.

Thanks James

Twins! Sorta. Kinda along the Danny Devito/Arnold Swartzeneger line.
Welcome. Let the learning begin.

Well I got a little time to start on the Carts. I spent a couple of hours cleaning the 4/wheel and started tearing it down for a rebuild. I will be posting the progress on this thread. Looks like most of the rust is in the battery area not as bad as i thought it would be. Also got some good news my son's best friend, lives two houses down his dad talked to me and he use to work on ezgo carts!!

The M/N shows that it is a 1985, but the motor has like 2/4/91 think some one replaced motor or is it a 91? Like I said I know little to nothing about golf carts.

Your photos show a controller, so I would go with 91. You'll find out shortly how to determine the year by the serial and model numbers. By the way, check your whole frame for rust. What I see there isn't bad! I've worked on carts that you had to replace entire sections of the frames!
You got a good find there!

You can fix that axle. Look at my build thread below. it is a lot of work but can be done. If I had to do it over I would just buy a new one.

Well I got up and started early. Pulled the front axle and had a friend who has a body shop put it in a press and straighten it out. Then I cleaned up the front end. Here are more pics, the rest of this week I will be clearing land so I will not be in the garage much.

Well I got to do a little work on the cart last night, didn't get alot done. I welded in some braces so I can cut the rust out and not have the frame fall apart. Will post pics later tonight after I get a little more done.
