yup,your gonna have a problem if you dont have enough 1" width on that tapered shaft.

also check to make sure it has a dip stick?? a lot of the gen/engines did not.

well you need to answer my ? is the shaft 1", if so you will need to cut a keyway in the shaft, most likely cut the shaft [will be to long] drill and re tap, buy a dip stick and tube, gasket, pull the case cover and drill for the tube.

sounds like a bunch of ------- around but maybe thats just me.
