Measure the armature resistance with cables disconnected. Resistance between A1 and A2 should be less than 1 ohm.

There are no ohm between A1 and A2. Meter does nothing. No continuity at all. I do have continuity between F1 and F2.

Remove the aluminum cap from the other end, the armature will slide out with it.. then you will be able to evaluate the brushes & commutator

My issue was a bad key switch. It must have shorted out. Installed a new one and everything is working as it should be.
