Club Carb Soot on spark pug
2002 Club Car Ds gas keeps soothing up new spark plug. Runs fine maybe 5 to 10 minutes, then starts skipping. Pull plug black with soot, dry not wet. New carburetor, fuel pump, fuel filters, gas tank cleaned out. Have carburetor set very lean. Clean or replace plug and will run good again for short time. Sorry about long post. Any help greatly appreciated.

Re: Club Carb Soot on spark pug
What kind of plug are you using?
Should be an NGK # BPR5ES Have you checked the air filter housing? Made sure there is no obstruction of the inlet into the filter box? The Choke flap is adjusted properly and not stuck in the closed position? |
