94 charging problems/microswitch question
I have a 1994 gas clubcar. I use it around the property. I'm having trouble keeping the battery charged.
The starter/generator has been rebuilt, and passes the bench test. The voltage regulator has been replaced. What else can it be? I'll clean the cables real good tomorrow, but don't think they're the issue. I'm also having some type of microswitch problem. When I push the gas pedal, the starter engages, and then stops. On investigation, there are two switches on the throttle. When I push the throttle, they're in the same positions. If, with the throttle pushed, I manually close the bottom switch, it starts. Could that also contribute to my charging problem? Thanks. |

Re: 94 charging problems/microswitch question
Have you had the battery tested ? It doesn't matter how good your starter/generator is if the battery can't hold a charge for any reasonable time.
