installed lift, now to adjust the camber
just got the 6 inch spindle lift and tires on it, tires are sitting like this \-----/
The passanger side sits alittle more croocked that the driver everything is tight, and i understand that the need to sit a little crooked. was like that when I bought it so can anyone tell me best way to adjust this?? looked in forums, just dont know exactly what im looking for |

Well, I'm not sure if it's correct but I'll post what I ended up doing.
I just installed a 3" spindle lift last weekend and had the same problem. I ended up having to adjust the tie rod ends on the tie rod between the ends of the spindles. Doug |

I will try to get them up later this evening! Its a jakes 6inch spinlde lift, has 22x10x11 carlisle styrkers under it on douglas aluminum wheels

Adjusting the tie rods adjusts your Toe-in...
With Jake's spindles, you still use the stock "eccentric" to adjust the Camber! With my Jake's 3" Spindles, I had to "max" the eccentric to "barely" get within specs! Note: Adjust, roll the cart forward, check, and readjust... forward, check, readjust... forward, check, readjust... ect. Do this for the Camber and Toe-in! Do not roll it forward, then backward! |
