09 columbia eagle se electric
I have a 2009 Columbia eagle SE electric cart. it runs great but sometimes if you step on the accelerator to fast the cart shuts down and you have to turn the key off and then back on to reset, however if you go slowly it works fine is this a safety switch or do i have a problem going on.

Re: 09 columbia eagle se electric
Not a safety feature. When it happens, don't turn off the key. Look at the status LED on the dash, or the green LED on the controller and count the flashes. The code will give a clue what the controller sees.
If you batteries are low or going bad, that can be a cause also, as the quick demand for current can shut the cart down, if the current isn't there to be had. |
