Default picked up a boat anchor today. 2 stroke 80's

I am getting conflicting info trying to ID this cart so I can get the right parts.
Here are pictures and the tag. Thank you!!

The wiring is a mess. I want to either get a new harness or make one. Either way will need more accurate info. I have to admit I've been eyeing that 200cc power plant in my scooter
Wont let me post photos so I will describe it Metal body. Gas door center behind seat. Generator top & center on engine.
Tag says E-Z-Go TEXTRON SN 256607
Augusta Georgia D8228

On that metal tag where you found the S/N, is there a model number listed also? That's the one we need to determine a year.

And oil pumps are a bad idea, they aren't too accurate. Plug the port where the oil injects in the intake, and premix your fuel with good grade 2 stroke oil at 128:1 (1 oz. per gallon)

Can you try posting them again? I think (maybe) you've got to have 3 posts to put up pics.

Ah, that's the catch then. You've obviously got an EZGO Marathon, and that's a Robin 244cc 2pg engine. It's somewhere in the 80s because it has the external S/G, not an internal one. That's pretty much all I've got, someone a little better with EZGOs is gonna have to help from here. Good news is for parts that 76-87 use pretty much the same everything, with 83 and 88 being the only exceptions.

What's the muffler look like? Vertical on the driver's side, or horizontal and behind the engine? If vertical, does the header pipe enter in the side of it at the top, or go into a 90 that turns down into the top of the muffler?

Lots of ?s, but it'll help narrow it down.

Never mind, the link works!

I'm going to guess 82 model, and it's clean!
