Default 2000 Club Car DS 48 v rear suspension

2000 Club Car DS 48 Volt with recently added rear fold down seat sits a little lower on rear passenger side and when I hit a bump it bottoms out. Everything stock including wheels and tires except the rear seat add on. It appears that the shocks are collapsed a bit, but I am thinking the springs are probably not sufficient to hold up the extra weight. Should I replace shocks, or add new heavier leaf springs all the way around and possibly eliminate the shocks or add better shocks with overload springs on each shock. All suggestions appreciated.

Someone will move this to the correct section shortly.

Start with adding heavy duty leaf springs. I'd suggest RedHawks version, I'm very impressed with that setup.

You may also want to consider dual action rear leaf springs. I don't have them but sounds like they are not as stiff as heavy duty ones so they ride isn't as bad when riding with no one on the rear seat.
