Anyone add 1 or 2 extra batteries for the extra run time?
If so, how much did it help out?
Thinking about adding 1 or 2 extra batteries for the extended run time and was curious if there are others that have already done this and if the results were worth the effort and money. |

most common is in a 48 volt cart going from 6-8 volt to 8-6 volt . Anything more then that you have to change possible motor , controller , charger .

Can they not be hooked up in parrallel to add amperage vs voltage?
Although 8 6 volters would have worked but this is afterthought after i have already paid for the rangers. |

Re: Anyone add 1 or 2 extra batteries for the extra run time?
Problem is you are going to parallel which ones? You're running six 8volt batteries, right? If you add two more 8v batteries and parallel them with two of your other 8v batteries, your pack will still be as weak as the other four 8v batteries that don't have a parallel battery.
Plus it'll cause an imbalance in charging and discharging. You would need to parallel the full pack and that's not an easy prospect. |

If you could work out installing them 8 twelve volt batteries would work. (with a 48v cart)

I want to find a way to install a rider pallet jack battery to one of my buggy's.
750 amps and will go 6-8 hours lifting 6-8k pallets. |

Thanks for the replies guys. it was, as i said, an after thought. I am sure I will get plenty of run time with the rangers. They will be in tomorrow. I will get them charging and will give a bit of a work out on saturday. looking forward to seeing what these babies will do after they are broke in.
