tire probelm
The tire on one of my old rims refuses to come off. The tire must be ancient. My son has used a tire machine and everything in between, but no luck. Any ideas?

Re: tire probelm
As a purveyor of vintage carts (I have 8 of them) getting those old tires off can be a SOB. The metal bead wire fuses itself to the rim over the years. It will come off. You have to cut a decent section of the tire away so that you can get to the bead with a grinder or dremel tool to cut it. Once cut things will loosen up for you. A bit of heat with a torch will help.
