Default 1992 marathon motor check

How can I check the motor on 1992 marathon? Was going to jump straight from batteries, but w as not sure if I can or which terminals to hook the positive and negative to, s1, s2, a1, a2?

connect s2 and a1 together. put power on a2 and s1, polarity does not matter.

I would use only two batteries, not the whole pack.

Okay, hooked it up and the passenger side wheel pulled but the driver's side wheel did not. Is this normal?

Yes. It’s an open differential.

Thank you Lukel! Now I can put my control unit back in. Took it out to clean all connections. Hopefully it will run. Wasn't running before, but alot of the connections were corroded, so I thought I'd start at the motor and work backwards. Your help is much appreciated.

On a 1992 marathon cart.......micro switch 4 on the FNR selector......diagram shows black and white wires going to one side of switch and red and white wires going to other side. My nd mocor switch only has 2 spade connectors. If I put the black and white wires as well as the red and white wires on the same spade connector, they are connected together. Am I supposed to connect the black wire and the red wire the the middle N/C screw?
