Default Re: When solenoid engages the motor is full throttle

I downloaded the manual for the controller, it says I should have 15 bolts on
J4-4 of the programming plug, it has .669 bolts key on or off, push pedal down it’s got 14.69 volts. All the wiring diagrams show a cable on A-2 but there is not anything connected to it.

The pedal switch has to be closed to power up the controller, or B+ can be jumpered to the solenoid's small terminal with red wires on it to bypass the pedal switch.

Nothing has to be connected to A2. It is for plug braking, which is used in forklift and similar applications. (Keeps motor from instantly locking up and abruptly stopping vehicle when shifting from forward to reverse or reverse to forward while still moving)

Programmed to 0 pot on throttle, no change, I can’t tell if it’s wired up right because between the controller schematic an the one I found on here there all showing different wire locations an they all use A2 on the controller. When I pulled M- cable off it shows 37 volts coming from the motor.

In Your first post You said "changed the ITS coil", ITS is throttle type 6, not 0.

Glad to hear you got it running.

Don't worry about the A2 terminal on the controller. Unless you are in the habit trying to shift the direction the cart is traveling before the cart stops, you'll never know if it is connected or not.

Now that the throttle is working correctly, check the voltage on the M- terminal again. Ou8ght to be exactly the same as the battery pack voltage when the pedal is pushed just far enough to make solenoid click and smoothly decrease to 0V as pedal is slowly pushed to floor.

Holy sh%&, Sergio, seems like you have the full list of throttle types by number.... care to share the list with us? There are several different parameters for throttle type that should be easy that you keep tight? I never nagged them for it. But we might have to explore to find. Care to share? (Even by way of PM)
