DCS Alltrax Solenoid question
DCX 300 controller failed in my 36v DCS cart, bought new XCT Alltrax controller from CartsUnlimited. I bought the upgrade and have a question about the upgraded solenoid that came with kit.
Original standard duty solenoid had large posts on side for main connections and 2 small posts. On one post (cart side) are small Red, Yellow and yellow/white wires. Second small post (on batt side) has one small blue wire. I am unclear on where to connect on the 4 spade connectors on the upgraded solenoid. The new solenoid has the 2 large connectors on top and then 4 spade plugs (2 marked + and 2 marked -). Any idea on what needs to be done with these 4 small wires? Thanks. |

Re: DCS Alltrax Solenoid question
Looking closer I am assuming the 3 wires (Red, Yellow, Yell/White get put it one spade end and plugged on the - port, and the single blue plugs on the + spade.
Does this sound correct? |

Quote:
The three wire connect to one of the two + spade lugs. The single blue wire connected to one of the two - spade lugs. The diode connects between the other two lugs, with the banded end connected to the + lug. |
