My 2 cents
Do this and just go get that 2 position switch. You will have everything you are asking for then.

Let me clarify a little more what I’m looking for. First, I have an extra 12V battery to run all my accessories. Next, I do not want to be able to run any of them without my ignition in the “on” position. This will keep from accidently leaving my lights on when I turn my cart off and leave it. Also, if one of my switches gets bumped on by my cat in the garage, it won’t turn my lights on.

I would like to somehow tie the key switch into my 12V power supply to my goodies. Will the 3 position key switch do this? And please don’t skin my cat!
The answer is yes, it will. Think of the factory switch as two separate switches in the same housing with the same key. Position 0, no contact on either set of contacts, pos 1, first set of contacts close and energize relay for accs, pos 2, leaves pos 1 closed and closes pos 2 for cart running. EZGo Part num 33639G01. Don't let the pic fool ya, there are two sets of contacts.

Cool, was just wondering. If you were closer, I'd just show you what I was talking about. Oh well, you got this. If you have the switch in hand, you will understand it.

How can I tell if I have a 3 position switch? The previous owner installed a new switch so I’m not sure. The one I have has two wires coming out of the back (blue and green). The key switch has an “off” and ”on” but there seems to be a position between the two. I can take some pictures tomorrow.

A 3-position switch will have 3 distinct positions, and 4 terminals on the back instead of only 2 terminals.

Ok, I now have a 3 position/4 prong key switch. Now how in the heck do I wire this bad boy. Do I run a pos+ and a neg- wire from the my extra 12v power supply to the two extra prongs on the key switch? And then just splice my accessories off those wires?
