1991 EZGO Marathon no go inreverse

I have basically no reverse. Once in a while it will go in reverse.I have newer batteries with good charge and new cables. Good clean contacts in the reversing switch. Forward is fine always. The solinoid clicks when you put it into reverse and it does not go reverse. The micro switches check OK on the meter with wires removed. All connections have been cleaned. What can I do next.

Try a little faness on the handle. Just barely move it and see if it will go. Sometimes the board on the cam getts weak and want hold the contactor down hard enough to come into contact with the other one. See if the board is fleemsy.

I got the problem figured out. The contacts in the f/r switch were well cleaned but the problem was that one on the mating contacts was riding up onto the fiber board contact holder. Just barley riding up onto it and separating the two contacts. All that was needed was to dismantle it again and put champhers on the 4 mating contacts on the rotating half. If anyone has had this problem of no reverse . Check this on yours. It was just barley catching. Thank you to those who answered. The kids are happy again now.
