Default Low battery light (2007 Precedent club car)

Hey Yaw, new to the site here, and i have read a lot of good info here that has helped me a lot, so Thanks for that.

Now i have just bought new trojen batteries for my 2007 Precedent club car and before new batteries the low battery light would come on a lot. But when i got new batteries the light would only come on when i unplug it from a charge(thats good i think) Then i hooked up my front and tail light to a seperate battery and i also installed new 4 ga battery cables to the new batteries, so now for some reason the low battery light comes on only when running Full speed?? when i let off the pedal the light go off. So what did i mess up, some thing behind the dash when i by passed some wires for the lights?? or do i need to reset the OBC??

Thanks Maddog24

Hey Shadowman, Thanks i will try that and see, i also read a post about installing new battery cables and when i did install my new one i could not run the one cable back threw the OBC because of the end being to big. should i cut off the end of that cable and run it back threw the OBC and put a new end back on. Could that be the reason the light comes on at full speed??

Thanks again

I think that you have just solved your problem. I'm not an expert but I believe that is a CT that the wire goes through on the OBC. If it is a CT like I think it is, then it measures the amps being used. That surely would cause some kind of problem if you wired around it instead of through it.
