I would think the lesson here is to make sure cart stays plugged in during cold weather. But, then again, it would seem that is a good rule in any case.

no i don,t leave mine on the charger its up there naked......bruce i think the key is your not sure about the batteries or maintence.....i would never suggest leaving a cart like i leave mine if i wern,t sure........i have seen what the cold does to iffy batteries that sat out over winter......froze and might as well blew up cause thats what they looked like but since this is my cart and i know the shape of batteries i,m perfectly alright knowing that its outside and unprotected.............................

I do my best to make the 90 mile trip to the campground once a month during the off-season. If I don't get there, one of the other families in our group does. We all have access to each others' carts, and cycle the chargers when we visit. If I go up and there isn't too much snow in camp, I'll drive the cart for a while to exercise the batteries and shake up the electrolyte, then put it on the charger and go home.
