Re: TXT drop axle on Marathon
. So, if this can't work, I don't see why not just yet. My 93 Marathon spindles will also fit this axle. I just wanted to keep it a roller for now. The 93 is next winter's project.

Re: TXT drop axle on Marathon
A dual a arm setup is what I want... but it will have to wait. Camping season is too close.

drag link I don't see why it wouldn't work. The newer txts (2001.5 and up) went back to the drag link. |

Re: TXT drop axle on Marathon
If you can fab, you can overcome pretty much anything. My Marathon the drag link is behind the drag link and the steering are both on the same side of the king pin on the spindle. You would have to make a new steering link. Or turn the axle around and run the drag link on the front side of the axle. I think that will cause an issue for the springs to bolt to the axle, the plate bolt holes would be wrong with the axle you have pictured. Maybe not, not being there hard to visualize.

I think maybe in that picture he could have the spindles up-side down.

Yeah I'm not sure if the spindles are upside down. I might cut off the arm for the drag link and weld it on the back side. I think it would be good too raise it so the drag link is parallel to the ground.

Re: TXT drop axle on Marathon
I also bought four spring plates in case I want to weld 2 to the top of the axle.
