Your local shop is the closest dealer to me and that is about 3-1/2 hours from me. I got mine online while they were still selling them that way.

I guess there are new designs in the works for their batteries. I don't believe you could go wrong with anything they come up with. Their reputation is extraordinary.

Good luck with your conversion when they arrive!
I'm currently running a BigBattery HSKY. It worked fine on my DC cart, but something about AC draws really upsets the BMS so I have it detuned and am rehoming it in my flip cart with an Alltrax I just picked up from Scottie.

Eco really has emerged from the field as the only viable brand for aftermarket applications with a quality BMS and A+ rated cells. For the value minded, their 72ah pack is priced in line with the RoyPow 105 and is better constructed, so I've started recommending that unit my customers for battery replacements as well.

As a part time cart repair/flipper, the last thing I want is to stake my reputation on something that might fail or under deliver. Glad Eco has made it easy by being the ONLY one doing it right.

Palmetto Battery Pros is my local shop. I know others around that also sell Eco, but I like these guys because they started out rebuilding hybrid packs on cars and refurbishing lead acid batteries. IMO they are the gold standard in batteries and knowledge.

After I posted this, I rechecked the updated dealer locator page. There are 5 within 50 miles now, the closest being 38 miles away.

This is very encouraging as more dealers are picking up the line. Like you, I can't say enough good things about EB.

The last question asked of me was why my 48/72Ah battery says 75 continuous discharge amps and the website says 150 continuous discharge amps. You explained it to me and I passed it on but you might want to "legally" confirm that information here.

P.S. Have I told you lately that I love my Eco Battery?

P.P.S. Please disregard what I said to Bruce about the T-shirt!
We initially rated that battery at 75A because it was only intended for stock carts. But the cells and BMS are good for 150A, and after we had over a year of real world data proving it could handle 150A, we bumped up the official rating. It took a while to run through the supply chain before the new stickers started showing up.

I'm first on the list here for the new version of the 105ah 48v kit.... Don't want to overshare, but it has some really nice upgrades that are going to continue to create separation between Eco and "everyone else."
Not a rumor anymore, we officially open Mar 1 in West Columbia. We won’t have any product arriving there until mid March, and by end of April we will have batteries fully stocked and ready to ship daily.

We do have a few new battery models arriving in late April. We will release more info soon.

Are you really having to go all the way to Charleston for a battery? Surely something in Savannah?

It is so strange. The other brands out there are just shooting themselves in the foot by cutting corners. ExtremeTeam has almost a 100% return rate at 2 shops near me and have been dropped. BigBattery just keeps lowering quality standards and lost me as a customer. RoyPow seems to be doing ok, but no one is buying them expecting to do much more than the most basic of carting and they are still a "no name." I personally don't understand why anyone would buy individual batteries like Allied or Patriot either. No cell balancing or unified BMS is just asking for problems and they are nowhere near price competitive.

Super excited. Good to see you on the forum and looking forward to getting that new 105. What I'm hearing is really impressive.

See post #12. The dealer locator has been updated. This is encouraging. I hope XL Carts in St. Simons Island and Fernandina Beach sign on as a dealer also.
