Search for the owner's manual - there is a schematic in there showing the connector pinout. Check for power at the key switch (3 amp fuse can be blown) There should be battery power the solenoid small terminal. The controller grounds the other side to energize the solenoid. There is a switch on the throttle that has to close to tell the controller the throttle is pressed.

My experience with Moric controllers is all bad. Both of my G29's have Alltrax controllers after the Morics failed. Does the solenoid click when you flip from Tow to Run? Does it click and resist motion if you push the cart. (run/tow in run position) All of these things can help you diagnose the problem.

Then if your fuse is good, it sounds like you have a dead controller.

Only test I know of is to swap in a known good unit. :-( No real diagnostics available that I have seen for Moric. If you need a new controller don't replace it with a stock Moric unless you get one dirt cheap. Get an aftermarket controller like Alltrax. Solid unit and it comes with great diagnostics built in via USB.
