Default Picked up another Cart- 1982 G1

Well I have been running a local add on craigslist for the last 3 months trying to trade my sons 90cc quad for a golf cart.
I swapped his quad Friday for a 1982 G1A (J17 on motor) it had been maintained by a golf cart shop. was missing the roof big deal. runs and starts great. already has saw tooth knobbies on the back.

threw a piece of plywood on the roof and we are good to go. My son is really happy.
Of course today he asks me " Dad when can we lift it and put big tires on it"
will post some pictures tomorrow

I also have to decide what to do with the EZ-Go that I bought a couple of months ago. I think I have enough parts to get it running.

I think you and your son will have a great time building another car. Seems your son has a "dad's eye" when it comes to motor sports.....He could have kept his quad and had fun, but with your builds of golf cars....He just wanted to be like "Dad"! Watch out...By the time he's done....You may be looking at "His" rear bumper! Good luck/have fun Dave

thanks Ron !
I was out mowing my olive orchard last night till dark. Then packing Ebay stuff - I did get 2 pics. I started trading almost 3 years ago with $150 and worked my way up to this golf cart

It even has nice folding windshield that I have not put on.
