Dim Headlights 98 CC DS 48v

Changed batteries (6 - 8 volt) and now my headinghts are very dim. Checked wiring and looks OK.

Just as a wild guess maybe you wired something wrong. You need to measure the voltage at the light socket and see if you have 12v. Take a picture of your battery compartment with your cellphone and post it. We may be able to see something wired wrong.
