Default Electric 2015 CC Ds shutting down

My club has a Navitas On the fly controller and has a stock 3.2 hp factory motor. I use my cart for hunting. And some of the areas I hunt have some very intimidating hills. And sometimes I have 2-4 people on my rig. Whenever I have to climb these steep hills, I notice my cart will either stop all together or just go into a slow mode until I release the accelerator and wait a few seconds before getting underway again. Side note, when this happens I don't smell any electrical heat or burn. Would this be a safety feature on the motor??? If so, would going to a stronger motor eliminate this problem??

I have upgraded wires and selinoid.

Thanks in advance
