wire accessories diagram
I am trying to find a simple diagram explaining how to wire in a couple of led lights and a USB port on my 1986 gas club car. It's a simple 12 v system I just need to see how I can rig these up to the battery. It does not necessarily need to wire into the ignition. can be a separate on-off switch

Re: wire accessories diagram
If it's a couple of small LED pods you can get power for those from the Key switch Blue wire Use a separate switch for turning the lights on/off. If they're more than about 20w lights then you will want to run a separate power wire from the battery. Be sure to use a Fuse near the battery. Ground directly to the chassis near your lights.
Your USB plug can either get power from the Blue or Red depending if you want it on constantly or only when the key is on. Ground to the chassis, or the Black wires at the key switch. |
