Thanks everyone who weighed in. The problem is now solved I took a lot of things apart only to learn that it was the OBC that had failed. Once I bypassed the OBC the click went away. I bypassed it by running a cable directly from batt 6 neg to the small negative terminal on the solenoid.
I did clean out the drive control in the process and the throttle is working much better- but that did not need to be replaced. I also ended up having to buy an aftermarket battery charger, that required a bypassed OBC- which required a small but very easy mod. to bypass a second time, but charged everything up great and as of now the cart ran fantastically. So- I've performed my first double bypass surgery |
