Default 1987 Ezgo brakes

Does anyone know the OEM # for brake shoes for a 1987 Ezgo electric? The man. # for the cart is C0187.

My setup has the manual adjustment on the back of the brake plate (takes a 7mm socket to adjust), NOT the star for adjustment....if that helps.

When I do a search on-line, most places have shoes for pre 1986 1/2 and post 1986 1/2. I assume I need the post 1986 1/2 but want to make sure by using the OEM #.

Thanks!

Dave

Pop off the hub and have a look. The brake shoe number is usually stamped into the shoe. Sounds like a J10 shoe but check and make sure.

Thanks! I'll have a look. Is there a torque setting for the nut that holds the hub onto axle?

Tighter than gornoman in spandex.
Then tighter to align the key.

I think spec is 90ft# but give it all you got and then some to align for the key.
