Which Would You Buy?? '06 Precedent (stock) vs Tricked up DS
I WAS set on buying an '04 - '06 Precedent.
Now I'm starting to wonder if a tricked up DS might be just as enjoyable and trouble free. Purpose: 4-seater, mostly about running around a lake community (hilly in some areas). Occasional workhorse activities on property. I don't like old carts with floppy suspension. WHAT WOULD YOU DO? Thanks, Bob Gruber |

The DS for certain. I'm a large framed guy and putting me and my wife (who is also large framed) on a Precedent, I feel like a sardine.........

DS ALL THE WAY. I also am a large person ( 275 ) and even with small wife ( 125 ) a Precedent does not fit our needs nor our pocket book.
We have had CC DS since our first cart 30 plus years ago and never found them lacking. In my area the Precedents are selling for $900.00 AND UP "CHEAPER" than DS similar equiped? |

I'm really starting to lean towards a little older DS with upgraded controller, engine, and a lift.
I found a reasonabally priced '06 Precedent. It appears to be a servicable product given it's golf course history. A little too well "governed" and the regen is turned on. It feels (a little too) calm and predictalbe. Thanks for the feeback, and keep it coming. Bob G |

I have a DS and 3 Precedents on the lot and the DS is a little wider and easier to work on,I think the ds looks better with a lift kit though.
