Re: 94 club car no power
yes a shorter belt might help but if the problem is engine related its not gonna do you anything...........your saying it runs ok so thats why i suggested a belt??? have you tried tuning itup to see if that helps and is this something that just started or what???? how steep of hills ..............its a 10hp motor its going to slow down going up hills or inclines and even more so the longer and steeper.............so any background info on the cart.........did this problem just pop up....................................

Re: 94 club car no power
Are you sure the rear clutch is closing back up to the lowest gear? Is the belt riding as high in the groove as possible when it is having this trouble?

Re: 94 club car no power
Have you checked the compression of the engine?

Re: 94 club car no power
Compression should be 156 to 185 psi according to the manual for your cart.

Re: 94 club car no power
Here's a post with a link to the 94 CC manual. If you don't already have it I would recommend downloading it and saving it to your computer for future reference. There is a troubleshooting section in there with some other things you could check over.

Re: 94 club car no power
When you hit a hill does the engine RPM stay high but the cart won't climb or drop off like the engine is struggling with the load. Knowing that will go a long way towards determining if it's the clutch/belt or the engine itself.
