thanks i will check that out, i just wonder if im better doing it all while the engine is out. i dont have the tools to split the cases so i would probably have to take it to a shop and not sure what that would run.

If the cart has been well used and piston was shot I would do the long block if you plan on keeping the cart for a long time. I have heard some guys paying from $35 to $75 for a press job but your area may be diff. I would try other than cart dealers for better price. I have not had to do it as I have my own shop press.
It's a good feeling to know you are running basically a new engine. |

thats kind of my thought as long as i have it out might as well go all the way. i dont plan on keeping it very long though as my goal is to upgrade to a newer model. thanks for all the responses it was a great help. i will post when im done and let you all know how it turned out.
