Default Cart won't accelerate after braking

My 2005 Club Car Precedent runs great until I have to stop for stop sign etc. Then cart goes, but very slowly. If I step on the brake and parking brake, it usually takes off like normal. If can hear the solenoid click, then I know it will go.
I did the speed sensor test and that was okay. Any suggestions as what might be causing the cart to slow after braking?

Sounds like the activation circuit for the solenoid has a loose connection somewhere. A DVM is your best friend...
