The one that's in there now is a Curtis PMC Model# 1510-5210 (48V, 250A), Is that the stock one?

You must either replace it with the same 1510 controller, or you also have the option to upgrade. As long as the controller is built for the IQ drive system it will work. If it's for the Excel system (1515 controller) it will look the same with the exception of color, but won't work. IQ is Black, Excel is Grey or White
