Plug and play, and you should be able to find a used one on here for a hundred bucks I would think...

Do i buy just a stock level 36v? Idk what amperage my current motor is. Will buying a high/higher amp motor do anything? I'm going buy napa brand batteries I think because the current ones have lasted so long and I could probably go another river season on them. It's so 50/50 with Trojans and crown with the whole good/bad back and forth amongst cart owners I figured I'd go with what has worked well so far which is the napa brand. Down side to this is many consider the napa brand to be a lesser battery but like I said the napas I have have lasted so long.

For now, look for a stock Club Car series 36v motor

Here's one

Pm ed this person. Thank you. I'm also looking for any other performance upgrade advise. I'd imagine I'm pretty limited on a DS. When I get the batteries I plan on upgrading the battery wires to 4G and I will also do 4G from f r to batteries and batteries to motor. Will I need to beef anything else up? I don't wanna overload anything with the extra bump from the larger cables.

I have a 2002 ds that was doing close to the same thing. I put in a dropout wiring harness in and fixed it... It was like a $20 part, just a little hard to find.
