Default 98 Cub Car 48 volt

I just purchased, the batt pack is 14 months old. Cart slows down going up hills. When charging batteries two batteries seem to boil a lot. Also checked voltage with a volt meter after charge and got a reading of 50.9

Welcome to world of golf carts. Under charge batteries let off gas which sounds like boiling, it's a normal part of recharging. Voltage under charge reaches 57-63v. A full pack left to settle 24hours should still read 50.9v and should be back on the charger when it is run down to 48v.
