motor moves
ezgo marathon electric resistor cart.when i drive forward the motor clunks shifts back and forth.its nothing internal.its the whole motor that moves.its bolted tight.it seems like there should be a brace that hold it from moving.it makes noise like its hitting something.like i said its not internal.hope i explained it correctly.otherwise it runs good.it just moves when you take off from fwd or rev.also you can see it move.moves toward the fron t of the cart in rev and back when taking of in fwd about a 1/2 inch

Re: motor moves
if the whole motor / axle assy is moving your problem is in the suspenson. check that all the bolts are tight and the bushings are not worn out.

Re: motor moves
agree with madoc1, sounds more like your whole rear end assy is moving which could be either leaf springs, bushings, or the mount plates on the axle shafts....
