sparks fly
No I'm not a Taylor Swift fan! I have an 83 electric EZ Go that sees a lot of use around the farm toting tools, parts, and me. This is my first cart, and I've been very happy with it so far. I know that I need to do some performance work on it, but I haven't got the wife talked into it yet. Well, yesterday we overloaded it pretty good. I have a receiver hitch tube welded on the back frame so that I can pull a small craftsman trailer with. Yesterday I had it pulling feed with that trailer in the chicken houses. I had been trying to make sure and not load it down too much, but I guess it was doing too good and got me over confident in it. Because I filled that little trailer to the brim, and wound up burning up a wire or two. There is one wire with all of the insulation burnt off, and the post that it goes to was glowing cherry red. What all do I need to do before I get back on it? New wires? Is the battery gone? Any other advice?

Re: sparks fly
I really haven't even looked. I just got it out of the way, and went right back to work. I should have time to look at it Thursday.
