EZGO MARATHON Goes in reverse but not forwad
I have an 82 EzGo marathon that was working great until one day the motor broke. I had the motor changed and hooked it up. Realized solenoid was broke so replaced that. Now when in reverse it goes but nothing in forward. Could it be the f&r or what

I had a similar occurrence. I thought "nothing" was happening when I switched to forward but when I listened closely I heard, and soon realized, the starter was spinning but the belt was loose enough that it just spun inside the belt and would not turn the engine over. It would however "catch" in reverse and crank the engine. Anyway, I was quite happy that tightening the starter belt cured the problem.

It could be as simple as a bad connection on a F&R micro switch
 You just have to trace it out...... here is the solenoid activation circuit, my guess is the solenoid is not clicking in reverse, only in forward? let me know. |

Im sorry I didnt clarify. Mine is a resistor cart, so any ideas?
