Default Sound

Is the battery charger suppose to make a huming sound when it is not hooked up to the batterys.

yes you should hear it hum and be able to feel it vibrating with your hand on it while its on...

No. sounds to me like you charger is hot wired! Careful with that. It is dangerous and it won't have the automatic shut off feature. Your best bet is to unplug it from the AC & DC and remove the top to see if indeed the relay has been 'jumpered'.

sorry if its not hooked to batteries and just plugged into wall then the relay has most likely been jumped...

Every thing is fine with the charger. I took it in to make sure and they said it was working fine.It cost me nothing. Iam sending back the board I bought for my money. Now I just need to know if the charger shuts off by it's self when the batteries are charge?
