Default Rxv solenoid

Found one of these today on an 2008 rxv with over 20,000 amp hours. I am very surprised it made it this far. Most failed within a couple 100 hours. One that slipped through the recall process.

Is that what everyone is calling the "Brake Solenoid"? I have been looking all over for a "Brake Solenoid". I see now that looks like the original faulty solenoid, now replaced by a can shaped one with 4 posts that face up.
