my cart has started making a clicking sound when I accelerate ,it sounds like its coming from the mtr or rear differential . any ideals?

Hmmm gunna be hard to pinpoint...Does it constantly click or just every tire rotation? Standard rim/tire combo or aftermarket?

I put it on jack stands removed rear wheels & hubs ,everything looks okay ,ran mtr still has the noise sounds like maybe its a bearing. not sure ,checked the rear lube level it's fine ,noise sounds like it's coming from the mtr or that area. I noticed when I drive it the noise is loader when I'm going forward & is hardly noticeable when in reverse.

sounds like it may be your motor bearing...cart has half speed reverse so tires/motor aren't spinning as fast...to verify I would put on jack stands and use the ole screwdriver method...put a flathead screwdriver with flathead against motor and your ear on the handle and listen to see if its really loud at motor when someone lightly presses accel pedal...be sure not to press pedal down alot with no loud on cart as this can damage motor...

If it is very rapid and not to loud it may be the motor brushes or the holders. I had a noise in mine ( advanced motor ), and it was a loose brush holder. Sounded to me like a rapid buzzing.
