Default 91 Marathon Rear end roar

I have just finished replacing all the bearings in the rear end as well as the drivers axle...long story but after CUTTING the frozen hub off I had no choice...I am still getting a bad roar. It feels like it may be the input shaft. I have just put the input shaft and the intermediate shaft in and can hear the roar when turning it by hand. How can I tell which is the problem?? Thanks in advance for the help!
