Default Looking for opinions here

I'd like to start upgrading the carts peformance now. Which would be the best order to do this so I dont have to break the bank all at once....
New batts ( batts now are at least 6 y/o but still do ok for my riding style )
PQ Bandit ( cart is 96 so I assume motor is that old )
Controller/ Solenoid ( 96 as well )
total cost about 1500.00$$ I'm thinking but would like to do it in progression
series cart 36v and would like to stay 36v. also already have 4g wires

I would say upgrade to an alltrax 400 controller first. Then start looking at batteries if there OK for you then wait till they completely go but you are probably losing performance at that age. If you already have a plum quick bandit your motor is fine. The best upgrade I ever did was going to 48v it made a huge difference all around. It may be worth a second thought if you are buying a controller and batteries anyway!

yeah if your buying all these upgrades i would think about 48v, all you need is 48v solenoid, you can get a 36v - 48v after market controller, run it on 36v untill you get more money to up grade some more parts, and then get some 48v batteries, and reprogram the controller to 48v, and you need a Heavy Duty forward/reverse switch, and you can leave the 36v motor and run it on 48 volts and you will be happy

Preparing to move up to 48v would be my suggestion also.

Get a 36v-48v controller first. Then when you are ready you can just switch out the batteries and the solenoid to 48v. Your motor will be fine on 48v but you will most likely want to upgrade it as well but that would be the last thing that I would do in the progression for sure.
