Nissan Leaf pack question
I have looked for this answer everywhere but have been unable to find it.
Nissan battery modules have 3 terminals pos/neg and the center tap. Here's my question. Some builds I've seen, like the 14 module, build the center taps buss barred together every 2 modules, but in a 7 module build done in series, no buss bars are used. Why? |

Re: Nissan Leaf pack question
So a 14 module build is actually combining the modules together in sets of two. So the two modules are paralleled. That's why the 7 module pack and 14 module pack both are the same voltage.
Does that help? |

Re: Nissan Leaf pack question
Ok I get it thanks.
I would like to do a build pushing 80v with 10 in series but the problem I have found out is one Zeva bms cant handle that many cells so not sure what the next step is. |
