Angry 2007 precedent won't go "sometimes"

The cart periodically will not run. We'll be driving fine, stop somewhere and when we get back on it, it will not go. Hit the gas pedal and nothing... After trying multiple times (key on/of, flip Fwd/Rvs switch back and forth, tap pedal multiple times and sometimes just letting it sit) you can then hear the motor start to turn over but very slowly and then nothing. Try a few more times and it starts no problem with no hesitation.

Recently replaced the S/G, Battery and Solenoid.

Any ideas of what can be causing the problem?

Lift the seat at watch when it wont start. Could be as simple as a loose belt on the starter/generator. If its loose and slipping most of the time you cant hear that with the seat on.

Take it one step at a time and let's find out if the starter is turning before listing a bunch of other possibilities.

When it wont start, it doesn't do anything. The belt isn't slipping and the starter/generator doesn't do anything. It's just dead but then starts after anywhere between 10-30 minutes.

I went thru all this for months.I read...tested...tried to figure this out.I now have...2 brand new s/g belts....4brand new factory s/g brushes....4 new micro switches..ALL of this (never installed).

My perticular problem turned out to be...nothing more...than plugging an unplugging the wires to the f/r micro switch.DIRTY terminals...Green gunk built up.

My 2000 Gas club car runs like new again.
