Re: 94 DS steering/Delta issue
Looks like the bracket for your tie rod to bolt in is way long?

I'm not familiar with the jakes kits but it looks like the wrong kit for your cart.

Re: 94 DS steering/Delta issue
You're delta tower is bent, there is no doubting that
image.jpg You can see that the left side is all twisted, BUT, this is not the cause of your issue You're issue is that that pass. side spindle is wrong. On Don's, the mount is on the top of the spindle, while on yours, it is welded to the right edge of the spindle image (1).jpg Misc109.jpg I'd be willing to venture and say maybe you got a Precedent spindle for the pass. side. They have different steering boxes than the DSs EDIT - Hmmm, now I don't know. Look on Jake's website and the install videos. Both the 3" and 6" have that weird mount for the steering link |

Re: 94 DS steering/Delta issue
Not to disagree with Lockman but I don't think its bent enough to throw it that far out of alignment.
Here is a pic of mine, now mine is a a-arm lift but the delta is the same. |

Re: 94 DS steering/Delta issue
I know the delta is not straight, no doubt. But I'm still thinking the tie rod bracket that bolts to the spindle is wrong.

Re: 94 DS steering/Delta issue
Ok I see the problem now. My tie rod end bracket faces the front of cart and yours faces the rear. 180 degrees off and I would call them because they shipped you the wrong part or kit. Happens a lot here lately.
Electric or gas? Not that it matters for your front application but don't let them tell you that something else is wrong other than they shipped you the wrong parts. I just ordered and installed a 6" a-arm Jakes lift from Nivel Parts and my front kit had no hardware with it. Had to go out and buy bolts, nuts, and washers. |

Re: 94 DS steering/Delta issue
Just curious if anyone else noticed how close the tie rod was to the frame supports? It's gotta be the wrong lift!
