How in the world is the shift cable run on a 2002 DS gas? mine will not line up and binds all the time.
Does it need to me modified since I have a lift? |

Re: Shift Cable
probably catching on the rear of the seat mount frame...which is normal with a lift and older ds carts. you'll have to bend the mounting fork for the cable to be good.

Re: Shift Cable
I'm going to have to take pics of my setup, looks like it's just out of alignment.

Re: Shift Cable
That's the 3rd one, it's always in a bind around the diff mount area pictured. Something is not lining up straight.
Can someone take a pic of theirs please |

Re: Shift Cable
Cable needs to be straight to the bracket. It's under the body surrport.... that's why it breaking.....see it can go around it, and on top of the frame.....

Re: Shift Cable
It looks like you have an adapter between your cable and the bracket to raise your cable up some. Are you lifted to?
I don't think mine will line up going over the spring mount like that. |
