Default could someone, would someone take two pictures of the gear shift cable?

ScottyB answered my question on adjusting the FNR shifting cable- I want to make sure that I understand.

Am I supposed to have 3/8ths of an inch showing of the smooth cable or the threaded part of the cable?

I am going to take it off and start from square one- set it as If I got it from the MFG
so if I can look at what it SHOULD look like, I can match it, after one too many rugby games, I am now a much better visual learner

I just want to see what the thing is supposed to look like on the wall of the compartment and at the shift lever on the rear axle

Mine is not right

thanks,

I might be able to do this if somebody else doesn't first. I have 2 of these. One 2000 big block and one stock 2011. What yr cart are you dealing with?
