Default G19 Solenoid or controller not working properly

G19E, XCT48400, MZJ-400A, GE SEPEX motor

Cart would not move, changed/upgraded stock solenoid to the MZJ-400 and installed diode. Cart still will not move. The solenoid will not close and the controller is faulting out on low voltage.

Pack voltage is at 51v, when you press the accelerator the voltage at the B+ on the controller and load side of solenoid drops into the 30v-ish range controller goes into undervolt protection and solenoid will not close. Pack voltage remains unchanged at 51v. Forward or reverse doesn't matter.

If I turn the key off and press the pedal, the solenoid closes immediately in both F&R. Let off the pedal it disconnects about a second later. I'm frustrated, it seems like I'm missing something simple and can't find it.

Bad batteries? If you are dropping to 30 volts... load tested any of them?

The pack voltage doesn’t drop, the B+ voltage at the controller and the solenoid output terminal drops then controller faults out on low pack voltage. I'm assuming since the solenoid never closes I'm reading precharge voltage.

Hmm, almost sounds like a bad controller. We will see what the experts can help you with.

Has the solenoid ever actually closed since the new controller install?

Yes, cart was working after the Alltrax was installed. They said it ran well for a while then quit working. They lost interest and parked it until I went and got it to get it going again.
